GROOM AND RIDE
Experience the joy of horseback riding with our special mini sessions tailored to beginner riders of all ages. Experience grooming, saddling and riding your horse under our expert instruction here in beautiful Queenstown.
A great option for beginner riders! Groom and rides are an experience designed to introduce new riders to the joy of riding and spending time with horses and ponies.
Groom, saddle up, and take a short ride around our hobby farm, you might even get to meet some of our other resident farm animals too! Groom and Rides are custom tailored half hour sessions enjoyed by both adults and children.

SEASONAL SPECIAL TOUR
Join us this Autumn in beautiful Arrowtown for an exclusive private ridden tour along the Arrow river, surrounded by the autumn colours that it is so famous for.
For experienced riders only. Explore the trails around the Arrow river and historical Arrowtown, visit the chinese village or add in a stop at the iconic Fork and Tap pub after your ride for the perfect finish to your day! .
This is not your typical nose to tail trail ride! Our horses are exceptionally well maintained sport horses and hunters, who are given a wide variety of work to keep them healthy, happy, and ready to ride!

RIDING LESSONS
Here at A M Equestrian we love to share the joy of riding with others. Our staff are experienced and enthusiastic, and tailor each session to the riders ability, confidence, and goals. No matter your equine experience we have a coach to suit!
Riders are fitted with a helmet and riding boots, then begin with a quick grooming of their horse. Our coaches assist with saddling up, before guiding riders out to the arena for their lesson. Expect to learn anything from the very basics of grooming, tacking up and mounting, through to perfecting your dressage and jumping skills. We can also focus on any specific goals you want to work towards!

CAMPS
Our kids camps are focused on having fun, making new friends, and building confidence with our equine partners!
Each day includes one formal lesson as well as all sorts of activities, such as mounted games, arts and crafts, theory sessions, trail rides, paint the ponies, apple bobbing, team challenges, and lectures from local equine professionals.
Riders bring a packed lunch and clothing for any weather – we can take care of the rest!
A Queenstown holiday staple, our kids camps keep your little ones entertained and educated during the school holidays, all while having tons of fun!
Duration: Day programs most commonly run from 9am-3pm
Price: $150 or $127.50 with your own horse
PONY CLUB
Local riders are invited to become members of our Pony Club Center, through which we provide the NZPCA Curriculum to young riders, developing riding and horsemanship abilities for riders without their own ponies.
Pony Club riders attend minimum 1x weekly coaching sessions, working towards their examinations and certificates with the help of our enthusiastic and experienced coaches.

Located just minutes from your accomodation in Queenstown, Arrowtown or Frankton, our purpose built equestrian facilities are home to a number of well educated equines of all shapes and sizes. Our horses and ponies are well seasoned athletes in a range of english riding disciplines. This allows us to coach a wide variety of riders from complete beginner to advanced.
Horses are carefully matched to riders to ensure you have the best experience possible. Here at AME we love our horses and they are truely a part of our family.
We also work closely with our vets and farriers, and pride ourselves on upholding excellent horse welfare standards, ensuring that your horse is happy, healthy, and ready to ride!
