Join us for the ultimate horse riding intensive designed to elevate your child’s skills and confidence both in and out of the saddle, while having tons of fun too!
This will be a sleepaway camp with riders staying for the full camp in tents or trucks/floats, fully catered and riders with own horse/ponies welcome. We will have special guests throughout the week for talks and demos as well as out rides, flat work, and jumping sessions, as well as all our usual camp fun and games. Our annual Friday scavenger hunt being a highlight as usual!
Registrations are now open for riders age 8+ for the full 5 days (4 nights), and for a shorter 3 day option also.
We will also have our Show Camp on earlier in January for riders wanting to attend Lake Hayes Show.

Unloading horses: Drive right through into the yard area to unload in the safe enclosed area. There is both and in and an out gate for easy turn around, no reversing required!
Pre camp:
- Ensure horses are up to date with vet, worming, and farrier requirements so they are sound, fit, and ready to go!
- Read through the packing list below and ensure you have everything required

Rider:
- Riding tights/breeches/Jods for the week
- Tidy polos/base layers/riding shirts for the week
- Under garments for the week, don’t forget socks!
- Swimming togs
- Sun hat
- Warm hat
- Raincoat
- Warm jacket
- Light layers to ride in
- Helmet (Yellow Tagged)
- Riding boots (and chaps if worn)
- Gloves if worn
- Gumboots
- Trainers/Casual shoes
- Toiletries
- Medications if any
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellent
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Stretcher/foam mattress/bed roll
- Towel
- Back Protector for any riders wanting to jump XC fences
- Plate, bowl, cutlery
- Water bottle
- Something for an evening or quiet time activity (eg a book, friendship bracelet crafting, board game etc)
Horse if bringing own:
- Hay for the entire stay (approx half bale per day)
- Water and feed buckets
- Hard feed for the entire stay
- Any supplements or medications required
