MOVING TO SHOTOVER
We are super excited to be moving into Shotover Equestrian! From the 21st of April, starting with our holiday camp, all lessons will be based out of Shotover Equestrian.
WHY ARE WE MOVING?
The opportunity to move into a facility like Shotover is too good to pass up! We will now have a HUGE rubber chip arena, endless gravelled parking, access to the river trails, and no mud!
WHEN ARE WE MOVING?
We are planning to start shifting ponies into Shotover in the first week of the school holidays, woohoo!
WHERE TO FIND US
Shotover Equestrian’s entrance is off of Headley Drive, Shotover Country. Opposite 16 Headley Drive.

CHANGES TO THE LESSON TIMETABLE
With daylight savings now upon us we will need to rearrange the schedule slightly after the upcoming holidays in order to drop off the 5.30 time slot, proposed new schedule will be sent out this week – please let us know ASAP if any changes need to be made.
NEW BOOKING SYSTEM – ARENA HIRE AVAILABLE AT SHOTOVER EQUESTRIAN
If you’ve been on our website recently (or clicked any of the handy little buttons on the events below) you may have noticed some changes. We have now got a brand new booking system working directly from our website! It is still a work in progress, but will allow casual and event bookings to be much more user friendly!
You can use the new booking system to sign up for our recently added events and clinics, and to book arena hire as well!
(We still need to use Hello Club for processing memberships for a little while longer yet while that side of things gets set up on the website.)

Jody is an internationally acclaimed grand prix dressage rider, trainer, and expert on equine learning theory.

SEND SOPHIE TO BELGIUM – MOUNTED GAMES CAMP
Sophie Eade is a local young rider and past AME kid, who has qualified to compete in the U18 Mounted Games World Champs in Belgium this August! As part of her fundraising efforts, Sophie is holding a mounted games camp on Sunday 20th April.
Spaces are available for riders to register for the clinic on their own ponies, and we will have some ponies available to hire for the clinic also, with 50% of the hire fee going to Sophie as well.
The games camp will include mounted games lessons, a demo by Sophie and her mounted games partner Georgia, and a have a go games competition to conclude the day.
We ask for a minimum donation of $40 to Sophie if you register for the day. Sure to be tons of fun and what an awesome opportunity to support our local youth!
EASTER FUN DAY
We are helping Sophie in her fundraising efforts by hosting an Easter Fun Day alongside her mounted games clinic on Sunday 20th April from 10-2pm
Bring the family down for:
– Pony rides
– Sausage sizzle
– Easter egg hunt
– Mounted Games demonstrations
– Horsempire trade stall for your equestrian shopping needs
We would love to have all the AME kids down there to show off our awesome community and would love helpers for the Pony Rides if any of our riders are keen to help with that too!
